Responsibilities:

The task of the employee is to transport, merge, and regulate the provision of animal feed to ensure maximum efficiency. They must possess a mechanical skillset and hold a CDL Class A license.

Providing evidence of your driving history and drug/alcohol record is obligatory for you to complete the application process.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Tasked with creating a balanced diet for livestock as per the directions of the mill supervisor.
• Place the feed shipments and orders in their correct bin locations.
• Accountable for identifying the appropriate bin for each feed ingredient and placing them accordingly.
• Carry out regular inspections to ensure the smooth operation of the mill and maintain the truck and tractor in a good condition.
• Execute repairs or tune-ups on tools and instruments to ensure optimal performance.
• Tasked with keeping the mill and office area tidy.
• It is crucial to maintain precise inventory levels and records.
• Maintaining a safe workplace environment entails following established procedures, practicing caution, and preserving a clean setting to ensure product integrity. Exercise vigilance in identifying hazardous situations that may pose a risk to food quality, feed safety, or employee well-being and report them to supervisors.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a high school diploma, GED or any equivalent certification to match the education and experience criterion for this role.

To be considered for this position, candidates should have specific qualifications, experiences, and abilities:

• Fluency in math expected from candidates.
• Having a legitimate CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Class A driver's license is a prerequisite to drive in Nebraska.
• Adhere to the procedures and protocols stated in the company's DOT written program.
• The capability to comprehend and adhere to both written and verbal guidelines.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude required.
• Breathing disorders will not be tolerated, as the dusty conditions can aggravate the condition.
• Demonstrating aptitude in ascending and descending stairs and ladders, as well as scaling to heights of up to 80 feet.
• Can safely hoist items weighing 100 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Competency to function outside for extended periods of time.
