Truck Driver RMX

Job Summary:

The duties of the Truck Driver RMX include delivering prep products and equipment to different job sites safely, on time, and with efficiency. This role entails driving heavy-duty trucks and trailers, inspecting the vehicles routinely, adhering to DOT regulations, and maintaining a customer-centric approach while representing Holcim in a professional manner.

Responsibilities:

• Securely move prepping products and large machinery to specified job sites.
• Securely fasten equipment during the loading and unloading process to ensure safe transportation of materials.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch about route statuses and updates on job tasks.
• Execute pre- and post-travel inspections to confirm vehicle safety and adherence to regulations.
• To keep your vehicle running smoothly, cleanliness is key, along with monitoring fluid levels, maintaining tire pressure, and addressing minor repair issues promptly.
• Adhere to DOT standards by maintaining exact driving logs.
• Maintain a commitment to superb customer service and positive engagements with clients and contractors.
• Support management by completing miscellaneous tasks and duties as requested.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures meticulously, ensuring the utilization of necessary PPE.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Having a Flawless Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) showcases a driving profile that is impeccable.
• DOT physical certification.
• Meeting the educational criteria of a high school diploma or GED.
• A background of one year in driving or related heavy equipment transport experience is essential.
• Candidates with a background in construction, contracting, or equipment logistics are preferred.
• Ability to carry out basic math functions and navigate directions adeptly.
• Being skilled in equipment operation is beneficial.
