Starting Wage: $21/Hour

Shift Differential: $2.50/Hour

Services are available within the 12-hour schedule that starts at 6 PM and ends at 6 AM

Position Summary:

Upholding top-quality standards is a primary concern during the packaging phase.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Conducts routine maintenance and checks on all tray packers to ensure their proper functioning, including loading trays and monitoring glue levels
• Regular upkeep of the video jet is essential to keep it in excellent working condition, including proper cleaning, replenishing ink as needed, precise coding of data, and producing high-quality prints that are legible and clear.
• To maintain proper functioning of the shrink-wrap machine, the monitor oversees the application of film and refills the stock as needed.
• Adopt the role of the Packaging Machine Operator during their break, ensuring the product meets quality standards by checking the packaging seals and labels.
• Maintain the readability of the master shipper by checking its date periodically and implementing corrective actions when required.
• Coordinating the preparation and assembly of equipment and supplies for a production run.
• Sustains a neat, healthy, and secure work environment that propels efficiency and productivity.
• Emphasizes the importance of maintaining a positive attitude toward work and colleagues.
• Shows commitment and dedication by maintaining regular attendance.
• To safeguard personnel safety, maintain product quality, and ensure food safety and hygiene, it is critical to adhere to safe work practices. Always report to management any practices or conditions that may impact the aforementioned criteria
• Adhere to department and food safety guidelines to carry out sanitation processes (which may last throughout your entire shift).
• Take care of the extended run fillers by running regular maintenance, cleaning and troubleshooting to keep them running smoothly.
• The ability to effectively operate a tablet's operating system is essential for conducting quality and performance assessments
• In order to get the best results from your recipe, it's important to mix your ingredients in the right way. This means following the instructions closely and paying close attention to the order in which ingredients are added
• Expertise in accurately and efficiently calculating mathematical figures and amounts, including computations related to proportions, ratios, fractions, and percentages.
• The responsibility of MFI involves ensuring the safety and quality of its food products.
• Conducts related tasks and roles as demanded.
• Assume any other responsibilities as needed.

Experience, Qualifications, and Expertise the Employer Wants:

• The preferred qualifications for this role comprise a blend of one to three months of job experience and/or education equivalent to that duration
• Aptitude in composing routine communications and reports.
• Demonstrating the capability to utilize practical reasoning to execute directives given verbally. Possessing the aptitude to handle predicaments that involve a single identifiable factor in routine circumstances.
• A solid foundation in computer knowledge includes a basic understanding of operating systems and the software applications most commonly used in an office or personal setting such as word processors, spreadsheets, and email programs.
