Position Summary:

As a Inventory Clerk, their job responsibility is to transfer materials to and from designated storage areas using a small industrial vehicle.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Be present for pre-shift briefings that involve engaging in collective stretching routines to start your day off on the right foot.
• Effectively and safely drive a forklift to optimize workplace efficiency.
• If any faults are discovered during the everyday forklift inspection, suspend its use immediately.
• Accurately ship and receive products while preventing damage by implementing thorough Quality Reassurance Checks.
• Be attentive to the floor at all times to flag any safety lapses or violations and handle them appropriately.
• Ensure accuracy in filling out all documentation and forms, including double-checking all details.
• Make sure to fulfill customer orders precisely while taking careful consideration of any specific instructions given by the customer.
• Team up closely with the office personnel to ensure the accurate completion of inconsistencies and problematic matters.
• It is imperative to maintain proper organization and cleanliness within the warehouse premises, along with managing the damages and taking care of pallets.
• Develop a strong culture of teamwork within and across your teams by communicating positively and pleasantly.
• To uphold food safety, product quality, and personnel safety, observe safe work practices, adhere to GMP guidelines, and maintain sanitary conditions. Notify management of any adverse issues or practices that may result in the compromised safety of the food, affect personnel safety, or reduce product quality
• As the responsible party for food safety and quality at MFI, I strive to maintain high standards.
• Adhering to safety policies and procedures is non-negotiable.
• Handle any other work as instructed.

Qualifications:

Educational and Vocational Qualifications:

• The required qualifications for this job include a high school diploma or G.E.D, or commensurate education and practical experience
• The Powered Industrial Truck training program and forklift certification are the building blocks of a successful career in the industry.
• Cultivating a deep appreciation for the nuances of the English language can enable individuals to communicate with greater finesse and nuance.
• Competent knowledge of mathematics and configuration is crucial
• The competence to assess circumstances and arrive at the best solution that benefits the company without jeopardizing the health and safety of employees.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience of at least six months in a warehouse facility that handles pallets is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication abilities with others are a must.
• Even though certification is not deemed necessary during the hiring process, it is recommended. Once hired, all distribution operators are given certified P.I.T. training by MFI.
