Responsibilities:

The employee will be accountable for transporting, blending, and overseeing the feed distribution on the agricultural lands. They must have a mechanical talent and hold a CDL Class A license.

As a mandatory step in the application process, you will need to submit paperwork verifying your previous driving records and history of drug and alcohol usage.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Entrusted with the duty of creating custom feed rations in accordance with the guidance provided by the mill supervisor.
• Ensure that the feed deliveries and orders are positioned in their appropriate bin locations.
• Responsible for managing all feed ingredients and ensuring their correct location in the bins.
• Carry out regular inspections to ensure the smooth operation of the mill and maintain the truck and tractor in a good condition.
• Conduct minor and, in some cases, major refurbishments on machinery and equipment.
• Required to maintain a clean environment in the mill and office.
• Proper inventory and record management is indispensable.
• It is vital to maintain safe work practices, adhere to procedures, and ensure sanitary conditions, to guarantee optimal product quality, feed security, and workplace safety. Notify managers of any conditions, events, or practices that pose a threat to feed safety, food quality, or worker safety.
• The trend towards travel and multiple work locations can help individuals develop critical skills such as adaptability, cross-cultural awareness, and better work-life balance
• It is everyone's responsibility to adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Complete any other tasks as instructed.

Qualifications:

The minimum educational and experiential requirement for this job includes a high school diploma, GED or an equivalent accreditation.
