Facility Services Associate

Job Summary:

We are currently searching for a dependable and observant Facility Services Associate to add to our kitchen staff. As an important member of our behind-the-scenes team, your role will involve ensuring the cleanliness and availability of dishes, supporting food safety regulations, and contributing to a well-managed kitchen environment. Responsibilities:

• Consistently wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils to promote cleanliness and food safety throughout the shift
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen machinery like mixers, stoves, ovens, and coffee makers to prevent contamination
• Ensure the quick and effective busing of tables, returning dirty items promptly to the dish station
• Dispose of litter, rinse out garbage containers, and comply with waste management protocols
• Support in maintaining and restocking washed kitchenware and silverware to their rightful places
• Assist in the unloading of deliveries and maintaining organized inventory storage
• Help with food prepping activities and contribute to keeping the kitchen area clean whenever needed
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by strictly adhering to guidelines for food handling

Qualifications and Experience:

• While it is beneficial, having worked in a dishwasher or kitchen support capacity in the past is not a prerequisite for this role
• Proficiency in operating industrial dishwashers and implementing sanitation measures for food preparation spaces
• Proficient in operating efficiently amidst a quick-paced and high-volume work setting
• It is preferred if applicants have a high school diploma or its GED equivalent
• Proficiency in time management and a meticulous approach to details are highly valued
• Demonstrates excellence in teamwork and adept communication skills
• Having the capability to withstand long periods of standing and lifting objects up to 50 pounds

Salary:
