Position Summary:

By operating a small industrial vehicle, the Distribution Center Team Member is accountable for transferring materials between designated storage areas.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Be present for pre-shift meetings, which could involve engaging in group stretches as a warm-up.
• Exercise caution and efficiency when handling a forklift on the job.
• If any deficiencies are identified in the daily forklift inspection, remove the lift from service.
• Improve the quality of your shipped and received items by completing thorough Quality Reassurance Checks.
• Stay vigilant of the surroundings to prevent any safety hazards or breaches and take necessary actions.
• Make sure that every required field on all documents is properly filled in and confirmed.
• Make sure to fulfill customer orders precisely while taking careful consideration of any specific instructions given by the customer.
• Work hand in hand with the staff in the office to make sure that errors and issues are resolved accurately.
• The warehouse needs to remain well-organized, with attention given to repairing damages and ensuring the storage of pallets in appropriate bins.
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication that encourages teamwork among and between teams.
• To uphold food safety, product quality, and personnel safety, observe safe work practices, adhere to GMP guidelines, and maintain sanitary conditions. Notify management of any adverse issues or practices that may result in the compromised safety of the food, affect personnel safety, or reduce product quality
• My role involves monitoring MFI products to guarantee their safety and quality at all times.
• The observance of safety policies and procedures is of utmost importance.
• Undertake any further duties as required.

Qualifications:

Requirements for Education and Experience:

• Successful candidates must have either a high school diploma, G.E.D, or a blend of education and relevant work experience
• For optimal performance in the field, it's important to pass the forklift certification and complete the Powered Industrial Truck training program.
• Fluency in English can be attained through diligent study and practice, leading to increased confidence and competence in communicating with others.
• A good grasp of both math and configuration is essential
• The capability to analyze situations and determine the optimal course of action that promotes the company's interests while preserving the health and well-being of employees.

Required Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate should come with a background of at least six months of experience in a warehouse that employs pallets.
• Strong inter-relational skills are needed to succeed.
• Even though certification is not deemed necessary during the hiring process, it is recommended. Once hired, all distribution operators are given certified P.I.T. training by MFI.
