Responsibilities:

It is the job of the individual holding this position to strictly abide by safety rules while emphasizing the importance of maintaining safety through all operations. In addition, compliance with food safety and quality activities, procedures, and policies is key to reducing process and product disparities.

The maintenance head has a responsibility to maintain, fix and establish machinery in the factory. In addition, they also handle the training, scheduling and professional development of all production maintenance personnel.

Qualifications:

• Takes responsibility for providing a safe and healthy work environment for everyone. Complies with all safety policies and procedures and implements safety and health measures into all job tasks.
• Follows all essential safe work regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices, and ensures proper sanitation to maintain product quality. If any specific practice or condition poses a threat to employee safety or product safety/quality, promptly reports to management for prompt action.
• Attends safety meetings regularly and contributes to the discussions.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations is a top priority.
• Monitoring maintenance team.
• Formulate work instructions and service directives.
• Obligated to complete the installation of newly acquired machinery.
• Correct equipment issues by examining and identifying problematic areas, then implementing targeted repairs.
• Guarantees an environment that is safe for workers.
• Acknowledges and resolves operational mishaps promptly to minimize their impact on the organization's functioning.
• Facilitates a synchronized work environment by working with all the departments.
• Maintains a consistent approach to enforcing company policies that is just and objective.
• Solicits recommendations from employees that can lead to increased efficiency, superior quality, heightened safety standards or better cost management.
• Ensures the manager is kept informed of any issues pertaining to the operations or personnel that may require their attention or knowledge.
• Schedule crew overtime.
• Help and lead maintenance experts in locating and resolving electrical and mechanical snags on all utility equipment.
• To ensure a secure work area, compliance with GMP guidelines, and the preservation of sanitary conditions are crucial. Also, maintaining product quality should be a top priority. Alert the management of any issues or behaviours that could be threatening to food safety, employee safety, or product quality.
