Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Webmaster to serve as the Project Manager for the launch of our new website and to oversee its ongoing maintenance and optimization. This role is critical in ensuring the website delivers optimal performance, user experience, and security. You will manage the site's functionality, design, and development, collaborating across departments to ensure that the digital presence aligns with Holcim’s goals and brand.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Website Launch
  Lead the end-to-end project management of the website launch, including coordinating stakeholders and IT, developing contracts, ensuring IT security, managing timelines and budgets, allocating resources, and delivering results on time and within scope.

• Website Maintenance
  Continuously monitor website performance, uptime, and functionality to maintain seamless operation post-launch.

• Content Management
  Regularly update and manage website content to ensure it is current, accurate, and aligned with Holcim branding.

• Technical Troubleshooting
  Diagnose and resolve website issues, including broken links, loading problems, and plugin conflicts. Coordinate solutions with the IT team as needed.

• Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
  Implement and maintain SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search rankings.

• Performance Monitoring
  Utilize tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to track traffic, user engagement, and identify areas for optimization.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  Partner with Communications, Marketing, HR, and IT to support campaigns, landing pages, and feature rollouts.

• Compliance Oversight
  Liaise with Legal to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, including GDPR.

• Health & Safety Commitment
  Demonstrate dedication to Holcim’s safety policies, encouraging a culture of health, safety, and environmental awareness.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Work Experience:

• Proven experience as a Webmaster, Web Developer, or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) required.

• Nice to have: Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms.

• Strong grasp of SEO best practices, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics.

• Experience with web security tools and protocols.

• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and responsive design.

• Familiarity with Adobe Cloud hosting environments.

Additional Requirements:

• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Effective communicator across teams.

• Compliance with PPE and respirator fit standards is mandatory for candidates required to use such equipment.
