Facilities Maintenance Clerk

Job Summary:

Join our kitchen team as a dependable and detail-focused Facilities Maintenance Clerk. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and availability of dishes, supporting food safety measures, and aiding in the overall organization of the kitchen to facilitate seamless daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Make sure to wash and sterilize dishes, cookware, and utensils consistently while working
• It is essential to uphold the cleanliness standards of kitchen equipment like mixers, stoves, ovens, and coffee makers
• Quickly clear and tidy up tables, promptly delivering dirty dishes to the dishwashing facility for cleaning
• Obey waste management regulations by removing and rinsing garbage bins as required
• Assist in restocking and arranging washed dishes and silverware in their designated storage sections
• Provide assistance in offloading packages and ensuring items are stored correctly
• Aid in food prepping and undertake general cleaning duties in the kitchen as and when needed
• Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently, particularly those related to the proper procedures for food handling

Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience working in a dishwasher or supporting kitchen role is advantageous, though not essential
• Proficiency in operating industrial dishwashers and implementing sanitation measures in the kitchen
• Being able to function efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume situation
• Having completed high school or possessing a GED equivalent is desirable
• Skillful management of time and a sharp eye for particularities
• Proficient in working harmoniously in a team and communicating efficiently
• The aptitude to stand for prolonged periods and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
