Job Summary:

Fleet Maintenance Assistant

The individual works with close supervision and follows established protocols to complete assigned tasks. They are also accountable for minor repairs and limited maintenance on specific equipment.

Principal Functions:

The capability to perform the subsequent tasks is crucial to excel in this profession.

• Adheres to established safety codes and guidelines throughout the work process.
• Undertakes minor repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance duties.
• The necessary paperwork that accompanies vehicle repairs is expertly managed through the use of fleet maintenance software program, which documents the usage of parts and the time spent on repairs.
• Supports the upkeep and fine-tuning of equipment.
• Rinses off transport and gear.
• Technicians conduct inspections on vehicles to establish whether they meet safety standards.
• Supports expert mechanics to finish project tasks.
• Provides support for handling service requests and resolving equipment issues.
• Performs any maintenance work that may be required.
• Complies with Corporate and OSHA guidelines to maintain a clean and secure work environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job does not require any form of supervision or direction-giving.
