Cleaning Crew Member

Job Summary:

We have an opening for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Crew Member to be part of our kitchen team. As a crucial member of the back-of-house staff, your duties will include maintaining the cleanliness and accessibility of dishware, adhering to food safety standards, and aiding in keeping the kitchen organized. Responsibilities:

• Maintain a routine of washing and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and utensils consistently during the shift
• Ensure the hygiene of kitchen appliances like mixers, stoves, ovens, and coffee makers remains a top priority
• Remove items from tables in a timely manner and efficiently return them to the dish station for cleaning
• Discard waste material, sanitize trash containers, and adhere to waste disposal guidelines
• Support in maintaining and restocking washed kitchenware and silverware to their rightful places
• Aid in the reception of deliveries and ensuring the correct placement of items in storage
• Offer support in food prepping duties and assist with overall kitchen cleanliness as and when necessary
• Stay in accordance with health and safety guidelines, including those pertaining to food handling practices

Qualifications and Experience:

• While prior experience in a dishwasher or kitchen support role is preferred, it is not a strict prerequisite for applicants
• Mastery of industrial dishwashing machines and protocols for upholding cleanliness in commercial kitchen settings
• Expert at delivering results promptly in a fast-paced and high-volume scenario
• Candidates who hold a high school diploma or an equivalent GED are preferred
• Possessing solid time management skills and a precise eye for detail is crucial
• Demonstrates excellence in teamwork and adept communication skills
• The ability to be upright for extended periods and handle weights of up to 50 pounds

Salary:
