Job Summary:

We are looking for a Warehouse Receiving and Forklift Clerk to work in our night shift team. This critical role involves unloading trucks, receiving and inspecting inbound products, and forklift driving with safety and caution. Responsibilities:

• Checking and verifying all incoming goods is a necessary step in maintaining the integrity of the supply chain and keeping customers happy
• Utilize forklifts to safely move and arrange newly received materials
• Help manage inventory databases: Assist with updating and maintaining inventory databases for accurate record-keeping and efficient inventory tracking
• Handle the logistics of outgoing and incoming parcels for UPS and FedEx
• Proper hygiene practices must also be implemented in the warehouse to prevent the spread of germs and illness
• Taking measures to prevent accidents and keeping things clean is fundamental in ensuring a secure and healthy atmosphere
• Inform management of any food recalls or warnings that you become aware of. It is important to remove any affected food items from the establishment to prevent customer illness

Qualifications:

• Completing high school or earning an equivalent degree enhances an individual's knowledge and skills, making them more marketable to employers
• If you have one to three months of warehouse experience, it will enhance your prospects of getting the job
• Forklift certification and powered industrial truck training might vary depending on the type of forklifts and work setting, but all programs follow general guidelines set by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
• Developing solid foundational skills in math and language is essential for academic and personal success
• Being able to read people's emotions and body language can enhance one's communication abilities
• Individuals who lack computer skills must be willing to learn how to navigate relevant programs, as proficiency in such applications is often essential for professional success

Preferred Qualifications:

• Competency in recognizing a specific number of words with two or three syllables and in noticing similarities and differences between these words and numerical patterns
• Mastery in producing and enunciating elementary sentences in English
• Competence in adding and subtracting numbers with two digits, as well as performing multiplication and division with numbers in the 10's and 100's, is an important mathematical aptitude
• Skill in utilizing commonsense to execute oral instructions effectively
• Expertise in Handling Issues with One Concrete Variable in Conventional Circumstances
• Excel, Outlook and SAP are must-know programs for anyone who wants to utilize technology to its fullest potential
