Job Summary:
Holcim is seeking a strategic and experienced IT Vendor Project Management Manager to lead vendor relationships and optimize contract performance across its IT infrastructure. This mid-senior level role is responsible for managing vendor engagements, improving service delivery, and ensuring alignment with both business goals and compliance requirements. The position plays a crucial role in streamlining vendor operations and supporting global IT projects.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the coordination of IT vendor and consultant relationships to enhance efficiencies across the organization.
- Assist in the collaboration with architecture, infrastructure, applications, procurement, and legal departments during vendor selection and contracting phases.
- Ascertain that vendor contracts are aligned with business goals and offer cost-effective solutions.
- Manage vendor service delivery, oversee SLA monitoring, and enforce compliance with service agreements.
- Initiate and carry out plans to improve vendors and handle disagreements.
- Monitor the entire contract lifecycle, which involves managing amendments and renewal processes.
- Assure that external partners adhere to both Holcim's safety policies and the legal mandates of the locality.
- Support in evaluating IT procurement practices and ensuring effective vendor management.
- Multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing setting.
- Instill a sense of importance on both safety and environmental consciousness throughout all workplaces.
- Handle further responsibilities as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Candidates must meet the criteria of holding a Bachelor's degree or demonstrating more than a decade of expertise in IT vendor management and procurement.
- Educational Background: A preferred qualification is a Master's degree in science, engineering, business, or a field associated with information technology.
- With a solid background of over five years, skilled in managing IT vendors and IT procurement.
- Skills Required:
- - Proficiently uses Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experienced in utilizing Google Workspace.
- Essential knowledge of SAP or comparable enterprise resource planning software.
- Demonstrated competency in project leadership and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluent in the English language is a must, with the ability to speak Spanish being a valuable skill.
- Expertise in contract negotiation and precise legal document analysis.
- Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal relations, cross-functional teamwork, and communication skills.
- Detailed understanding of the expenditure setups in supply chain networks and classifications of IT service solutions.
- Capability to perform tasks independently in fluctuating and unclear situations.
- Around 25% of the job may involve travel.

Salary:
The annual income for this position is within the range of $140,000 to $165,000
Added Reward: Yearly bonus (based on performance and duration of service)
