POSITION SUMMARY:
As an On-The-Job Training coordinator, the objective is to facilitate and manage the learning process of employees in the plant or department. This includes training on how to operate machinery, following Standard Work Instructions, safety, and continuous improvement.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and enacting the Employee Training Qualification Program for workers. This comprises overseeing the preparation and appraisal of trainees based on predetermined training criteria, as well as advising on extra skill necessities if required.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of comprehensive OJT training plans that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Develop checklists that can be used to ensure that all necessary steps have been completed and followed correctly when carrying out Standard Work Instructions.
- Organize and carry out orientation for new hires, classroom instruction and on-the-job training. Regularly touch base on a planned basis to address inquiries and confirm skillfulness.
- Provide aid to employees who require clarification on their work duties, offering additional support when necessary.
- Store archives of instructional supplies. Organize systematic records/charters of every educational session performed.
- When there are no training sessions or production going on, the OJT guide might have to assume other duties like: aiding in addressing problems, promoting continuous improvement, and implementing safety programs/training; acquainting operators with various functions; lending a hand in training programs for other sectors; monitoring the correctness of procedures and precision; and taking part in general cleaning activities.
- Compulsory engagement in instructional meetings, some of which might demand offsite or overnight arrangements.
- Ensure that all training activities are conducted in accordance with the safety and environmental guidelines mandated by the company, state, and federal regulations.
- Notify the designated staff about any atypical occurrences that may be observed during the handling of materials, process, or equipment.
- Assist in the formulation, execution, and modification of essential safety and health documents and strategies.
- All employees should be trained in monthly safety requirements and other compliance regulations to ensure adherence to company policies.
- Maintaining safe work practices, complying with GMP regulations, upholding sanitary conditions, and preserving the quality of the product is paramount. Notify management of any practices or conditions that may negatively impact the safety of food, personnel, or the product's quality.
- Following safety policies and procedures is crucial for maintaining a safe workplace.

Qualifications:

- The eligibility criteria include having a high school diploma and practical knowledge in the technical field. Additional merit will be granted to those having mechanical or vocational training.
