You must be able to work efficiently under pressure and be adaptable to changing circumstances. Additionally, you should be comfortable with following recipes and instructions precisely to ensure consistency in the dishes you prepare.

Responsibilities:

• It is of paramount importance to take all the necessary steps to maintain compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• The first step in the delivery process involves receiving trucks, and it is crucial to check each product and ensure that there are no damages or missing goods.
• Properly managing inventory requires diligence and attention to detail. One critical aspect is to make sure all items are dated, rotated, and stored appropriately, especially when multiple items arrive on the same day.
• Collecting necessary data on a daily basis to ensure a 2-day supply.
• Following the norms set by Domino's, all products will be readied to meet the specified requirements.
• Giving dough a 24-hour fermentation period, marking its date, and cooling it afterwards.
• It is important to ensure that food products are kept at the right temperature during prepping.
• Ensuring accurate temperature readings in all refrigeration units
• Applying Domino's dating regulations to all products for consistency.
• Organizing all necessary cooking components for recipes, such as sandwich boards and cooking trays lined with paper.
• It is crucial to maintain a sanitary environment in the prep area and any area where food may come into contact to ensure food safety.
• Restoring dipping bowl supplies, soda fountain apparatus, and packaging.
• Making note of any dangers or upkeep necessities and informing the appropriate personnel is crucial.

Requirements:

• Although there may be a lack of experience, having previous employment at a restaurant for a year can be considered a favorable aspect
• Demonstrating adeptness at problem-solving and communication.
• All food handlers in Texas are legally obliged to possess a certificate proving their proficiency.
• Effective time management is crucial for achieving success in any task.
• The capacity to stand or walk continuously for 8 to 10 hours throughout a shift, plus the strength to lift 30 pounds, is necessary for this position.

Education and Experience:

This job is accessible to candidates with or without a high school diploma. On-the-job instruction is available to teach the tools and information required to function in the role. Work Environment:

Working in the food industry can be very demanding. A Domino's Prep Cook has to handle high volumes of food for each shift, which can be very tiring. The job requires standing for long periods of time, which can lead to physical discomfort in the back and feet. Since Prep Cooks manage food, they also need to frequently sanitize their hands. The environment is crowded, warm, and possibly noisy. Conveyor belt ovens, warming shelves, and carts on wheels are present in the Domino's restaurant setting, which can be dangerous and lead to injury.
